Convert Excel to PDF

Turn one or many spreadsheets into clean PDFs.

Processed on your device — never uploaded

About this tool

Turn a spreadsheet into a PDF anyone can open, with columns that line up and headers repeated on every page. Drop in as many workbooks as you like, pick the sheets you want, and take away one combined PDF or a ZIP of one per file. There is no file limit, because there is no server to pay for one — every conversion happens on your own machine, so financial and personal data never goes near one.

Your files never leave your device. Toolpit has no upload step and no server that can see your document — the work happens in this tab, on your machine, and stops the moment you close it.

How to convert Excel to PDF

  1. Drop in one or many XLSX, XLS, ODS or CSV files.

  2. Pick the sheets, page size and orientation you want.

  3. Convert, then download one combined PDF or a ZIP of one per file.

Questions

Is my spreadsheet uploaded?

No. There is no upload step and no server that could receive the file — the tool runs as code in this browser tab, works on the copy your browser opened, and forgets it when you close the tab. You can check this yourself: open your browser’s network panel and run the tool. You will see the page, its scripts and the ads that pay for the site — and no request carrying your file, because there is no endpoint to carry it to.

Does it keep my formatting?

Bold, italic and underline, font sizes, text and fill colours, alignment, merged cells, your column widths, hidden rows and columns, and number formats all come through. Dates and currency arrive as the formatted text you see in the spreadsheet, not as raw serial numbers.

What happens to a sheet that is too wide for the page?

Rather than shrinking it until nobody can read it, wide sheets are split across column bands — the same rows continue on a following page with the remaining columns, and headers repeat.

How many workbooks can I convert at once?

There is no limit on the number of files. Drop a whole folder in and take away one combined PDF or a ZIP of one per workbook.

Every one of these runs in your browser too — no upload, no signup, no watermark.
